lyrics
I used to love you, and I used to know why
then you took my heart and wrung it out dry
now I'm stuck here wondering what you used to be
and you moved down south where the living is easy
since you left me, you've left me to find
I'll search the whole world over
to feel what I desire
things are meant to fall apart if only to reassemble again and again
fate's got a way of lingering
although sometimes I wonder if I'll be where I wanna be when I end up dead
if things don't end up working out
will I float away?
reanimate?
when it turns out that dreams are just made up after all
I'll create them with my own design
This album is excellent!
I love every stuff this guy has made.
Makes me want to grab a guitar and put down some new tones everytime i listen to..
Totally inspiring Rick86
Julia has the most unique voice, both sonically speaking and her music sensibility. She's equally folky and soulful, pulling from a range of influences far cooler than most could claim. This is an awesome collection of songs; as huge fan of the demos she put out, I especially love this fully fleshed out version of Barbara. jimiwiz
I was fortunate enough to attend one of Julia's shows at Riverview Gardens in Appleton, the other winter. Basically been a fan of hers, and the band Dusk, ever since. Love your style, and your music. tok_brew
Irresistible classic country music abounds on “Listening To The Music,” full of lap steel, walking bass, and heartwarming melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 5, 2020
Former frontman of punk band Roidz has crafted a richly layered contemporary pop record exploring the world of lives lived on the fringe. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 7, 2023
Some catchy tracks on here, and my guy is not afraid to rip a guitar solo. Sounds like Daniel Johnston country at times, and the album cover looks like a hip-hop record. Cidimon Arustavi
